Big Juicy Goose, Taichung [Taiwan]

Big Juicy Goose (阿秋大肥鵝), as the restaurant name implies, serves up delicious goose as their signature dish. We were looking around for a restaurant near Mulan Motel to have my birthday dinner, and this one kind of came up during our search.

After checking in at Mulan Motel, we proceed to gorge ourselves silly just because it happened to be the birthday of yours truly. A short 5-minutes walk brought us to Big Juicy Goose. The staff at the restaurant must be giving us weird looks based on the amount of food we ordered, heh.

As it turns out, they do serve pretty good food. In particular, their signature roasted goose is indeed fat and juicy – just check out the pictures below!

Mapo Tofu. Combination of bean curd set in a spicy chili and bean-based sauce.

Big Juicy Goose. This is a quarter-portion of the signature roasted goose.

Sakura Shrimp Fried Rice.

Grilled Mackerel.

Stir-fried Kang Kong.

Kiwi Fruit Juice.
